Amazing atmosphere, music a great addition. I had the salmon special, really good, cooked perfectly. The vegetables go well together with the dish. The Baklava cupcake was amazing, wish they would have on the menu year around, hint, hint :)

The food experience at the Acropolis Restaurant in Greensboro NC was average. The lunch menu offers a variety of Greek dishes, offering solid price and food choices. The atmosphere is average, staff working hard, food is average. The lentil soup was very tasty, feta cheese good, and the gyros was ok. The meat did not meet my gyros expectations. The vegetables were good. My score 4.1.

We ate at the Acropolis for New Year's Eve dinner. The food was amazing. Everything was seasoned well. For New Years Eve they had live music, it was really nice, we enjoyed it. The Baklava cupcake was beyond amazing, wish I had gotten some extras to go, to eat later. Great food, service, and music for a great price!

I had the rack of lamb tonight. OMG. Best ever. Marinated and cooked perfectly. So tender and juicy that I even ate the fat off the bone. Ordered a Baklava cupcake for desert. Folks, this was a heavenly delight. I went to culinary school at GTCC and can personally tell you that this was the best desert I've ever had. The cupcake was stuffed with baklava and topped with a velvety buttercream icing, then drizzled with a light syrup. I was told that this was a creation of the late mother and her daughter who now makes this truly five star desert. They had live music which embellished the ambience of the room. I felt as though I was truly in Greece. The other guests appeared to be having an enjoyable evening with the musician. The rack of lamb seemed to be the favorite of the evening. My chef's hat is truly off to the Acropolis and their great staff. I wish a "Happy New Year" to you all, and we will definitely be back soon!

Our friends had their rehearsal dinner for their wedding here. What am absolutely gem of a spot! Jimmy and his family, who have owned the place since their parents opened it in 1967, opened up their party room for us. It's been closed since COVID. The food was sublime, sublime I say!, and the staff are all so lovely. You feel like family.

We stopped in for lunch around 1:15 pm and we sat in the dining room. We were pleasantly surprised at the decor and even more so with our meal! Our server was great and we were even able to day hi to the owner and tell him how much we enjoyed our experience. We'll be back next time we're in town!

On Saturday I took my Mom, niece, and nephew here for dinner after a performance downtown. Was wanting to show the kids there are different types of food other than cheeseburgers. Our server was very pleasant, patient, and helpful! The food was prepared quite well and in a timely manner. The “side salads” were very well made and a decent portion with more than just lettuce. I will be back!
